Ticking
A 1000-word story written for Snake Bite Books' One Thousand Words of Horror.
A young kid listens in his bed as a strange scratching sound seems to come from his window - but it's not the only sound that breaks the silence of the night, as the old grandfather's clock, of which he's terrified, also seems strangely loud tonight.

Those are the stories I wrote meaning to submit them to an open call and were rejected (or never sent at all - in which case they might be chaotic and unedited, reader beware).
The Cold Just Was
A short horror story I wrote for Dead Sky Publishing's Cold Anthology about an unnatural cold snap. One of my first "serious" projects, I'm happy with the final result.
